But admiration quickly turned into gossip the second she was spotted near the boys’ locker room.
“Wait… isn’t that the girl Leon protected?”
The whispers spread fast.
Nova froze when a group of students blocked the entrance, convinced she had snuck into the wrong room. Before anyone could humiliate her further, the boys inside suddenly cleared out after a cold command echoed through the locker room.
“Everyone out. Now.”
Moments later, Nova came face-to-face with Leon himself.
“How did you even get in here?” she asked, stunned.
But Leon could already tell something was wrong.
“It was Jessica,” Nova admitted quietly. “She set this up.”
Realizing she’d been trapped again by her manipulative sister, Nova immediately tried to leave. But Leon stopped her before she walked straight into another ambush.
“What if she’s waiting for you outside?”
“I don’t care,” Nova snapped back.
For a brief second, the tension between them shifted. The chaos outside disappeared. It was just the two of them in the silent locker room… until everything exploded.
The door burst open.
Jessica’s followers stormed in, phones already recording.
“Everyone look!” one girl screamed. “This fake innocent bitch is hiding in the men’s locker room looking for a guy!”
