The entire classroom went dead silent the moment the black luxury convoy stopped outside the academy gates.
Everyone had heard the rumors about the school’s mysterious trustee — the man who once saved the principal’s life in a war zone and donated millions to build half the campus.
But no one knew who he really was.
Until now.
The doors opened.
A cold, terrifying figure stepped into the hallway.
“Everyone,” the principal said nervously, “this is our school trustee… Mr. Smith.”
And then the man’s eyes landed on Nova.
“Who,” he asked calmly, “has been bullying my daughter?”
The room exploded.
“Dad?” Nova blinked in shock. “What are you doing here?”
Mr. Smith walked straight to her side.
“Nova is my adopted daughter,” he announced. “I heard someone spread lies about her and tried to have her expelled.”
Jessica’s face instantly turned pale.
“Mr. Smith… there must be some misunderstanding…”
“A misunderstanding?” His voice dropped dangerously. “I already investigated everything.”
He revealed that someone had used anonymous accounts on the school forum to spread vicious rumors about Nova — fake stories, edited photos, and fabricated accusations designed to destroy her reputation.
Jessica stumbled backward.
“T-That can’t be… There has to be a mistake…”
“If you still refuse to admit it,” Mr. Smith said coldly, “I can release every piece of evidence right now.”
The classroom erupted in panic.
“Wait… Nova’s adoptive father is HIM?!”
“I thought he was some criminal!”
“No way… He’s literally on the school board!”
Jessica’s entire world shattered in seconds.
The teacher turned white as paper.
“Slandering a classmate, spreading false rumors, and framing another student…” he muttered shakily. “According to school regulations… the offender should be expelled permanently.”
Jessica froze.
“No! Dad! Mom! Please! I don’t want to be expelled!”
But nobody moved.
Desperate, she pointed at Nova and screamed:
“She’s your adopted daughter! You’re all working together to frame me!”

“Shut up!” her father roared.
